Melquan Ganzy is a New York based writer, creative director, educator, and cultural strategist working at the intersection of fashion, storytelling, and culture. He is a contributing writer and content producer for the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), an Assistant Professor at Parsons School of Design, and the Founder and Creative Director of The GANZY.

Founded and led by Ganzy, The GANZY is an independent creative platform specializing in creative direction, cultural strategy, brand storytelling, and visual storytelling. Grounded in research, cultural memory, resilience, and resistance, the platform explores fashion, Black identity, queerness, masculinity, beauty, and self expression through original editorials, exhibitions, cultural projects, and collaborations.

Across writing, strategy, education, and creative direction, Ganzy’s work challenges how identity and culture are seen, understood, and remembered while creating space for perspectives historically underrepresented in fashion and culture.
