Miss Black Extraordinary (“MBE”) church fans featuring Gia Love captivates the beauty (which is extraordinary and will not go unmentioned) that pours from Black trans-women in the face of violence throughout America and their own Black community.

There is not enough media coverage, and there are not enough people talking about the violence enacted upon trans people as if they don’t matter. MBE church fans amplify the conversations we must have to unlearn societal constructions that have limited our existence.

With the MBE fan release, we are donating a proportion of the proceeds towards Gia Love’s social and cultural activism throughout New York City. On August 21st, Gia Love will be hosting a social event, The Celebration of Black Transwomen Cookout, dedicated to uplifting, honoring, and celebrating the beauty amongst Black trans-women.
